Compare the complete cost, not the bottle headline
For 50ml perfume bottles, ask for bottle, pump, collar, cap, decoration, assembly and packing costs separately. Each component can have a different minimum order quantity, stock position and lead time. A supplier quotation is meaningful only when it identifies the selected component set and the quantity assumptions behind each line.
Protect the decoration area
A 50ml format often becomes the main visual expression of a fragrance range, so define the print, coating, frosting or metallisation area before the first decorated sample. Include artwork placement, colour reference, masking limits and acceptable variation. Then verify that the selected cap and collar do not cover critical artwork or create an uneven shoulder line.
Turn carton data into a freight decision
Ask for unit weight, units per inner and master carton, gross weight, carton dimensions and pallet pattern once the bottle family is narrowed. These figures help the buyer compare a lighter 50ml design with a heavier statement bottle on the real delivered-packaging cost, rather than assuming that similar capacities ship the same way.
