Write the 30ml brief before comparing shapes
30ml perfume bottles should be shortlisted against the commercial use case, not only the visual reference. State the target channel, first-order quantity, intended fill level, destination market, design direction and required delivery date. Then request nominal capacity, full capacity, bottle weight, dimensions, neck drawing and decoration limits for every candidate so the quotation can be compared on the same basis.
Check the small-format interfaces
Compact bottles leave less room for the cap, label or screen print to feel balanced. Review the shoulder clearance, collar height, cap cavity, pump output and dip-tube cut using the real bottle. A closure that looks proportionate in a render can interfere with decoration or feel oversized once the pack is filled.
Approve a sample that represents the shipment
Use the intended fragrance, pump, cap, decoration and protective insert for the final sample check. Record leakage, spray, label or print position, cap engagement and carton quantity before bulk production. This makes the 30ml sample a controlled approval, rather than a loose reference that suppliers interpret differently.
