Start with controlled interface data
A complete packaging set begins with the exact bottle neck, pump fixation, collar height, cap cavity and intended assembly method. Nominal names are useful for initial filtering, but the current drawings and physical samples decide compatibility. Record the component ID and revision for every item in the set so the supplier cannot substitute a lookalike part later.
Test filled performance, not only dry fit
Fit the pump and cap to the selected bottle, then test with the intended fragrance in upright, inverted and side orientations. Evaluate priming, spray pattern, output, leakage, cap retention and any decoration-related clearance. The same bottle can perform differently when a new gasket, tube, cap weight or fragrance formula is introduced.
Link the test record to the quotation
The approved component stack should appear in the bill of materials, quote, drawing pack, sample label and quality plan. Separate bottle-only price comparisons from the cost of the validated set. This keeps a small change in pump, cap or collar from silently changing the performance evidence behind the order.
